As a child, I constantly battled allergies and hay fever. Endless sneezing, itchy eyes, and a runny nose made it hard for me to fully appreciate the outdoors or even feel at ease indoors. As I grew older, I understood that I wasn’t alone in this struggle, and that millions of people worldwide faced similar challenges due to poor air quality.

As time went by, I built a career in engineering, concentrating on healthcare and health & safety at renowned companies like Fresenius Kabi and CareFusion. In various roles such as Field Services Engineer and Senior Product Implementation Analyst, I honed my skills and gained invaluable insights into the significance of health and well-being. Yet, despite my professional achievements, my personal struggles with allergies and poor air quality persisted as a constant challenge in my life.

Pushed by my background, I found myself on a path I could have never envisioned, ultimately leading me to create AIRO — an innovative project aimed at transforming the way we perceive and manage the air we breathe. AIRO combines cutting-edge technology with a groundbreaking approach to air quality monitoring and improvement. Our flagship device, the AIRO A1, enables individuals to take control of the air quality in their homes, offices, and public spaces, making a real difference in their lives.

The AIRO A1 has had a profound impact on my life. I was unaware that the CO2 levels in my office were consistently elevated, ranging between 800–1200 ppm, and I spent a significant amount of time there. High CO2 levels can lead to a variety of health issues, including headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating. Since using the AIRO A1, I have been able to identify and address these issues, which has dramatically improved my overall well-being and productivity.

At the core of the AIRO project is the conviction that by assigning value to air quality and rewarding healthy breathing habits, we can transform the perception of air as a resource. This shift in mindset holds the potential to lead to widespread adoption, and ultimately, to a world where everyone has access to clean, healthy air.

WHAT IS THE AIRO NETWORK?

AIRO is an innovative project aimed at revolutionizing the way we monitor and enhance air quality. Central to AIRO is the AIRO A1, an advanced device designed to gauge air quality in various settings, including homes, offices, and public spaces. Employing cutting-edge sensors and AI technology, the AIRO A1 delivers real-time data on air quality, enabling individuals to take charge of the air they breathe.

In addition to the AIRO A1 device, the AIRO Network functions as an interconnected ecosystem where people can join forces to learn about and take action to improve air quality. This network securely shares and stores air quality data anonymously gathered by AIRO A1 devices, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Members of the AIRO Network can earn rewards in the form of AIRO Credits for making positive changes that contribute to better air quality in their environment.
