CHAPTER II-THE HEROES

Centuries passed in times of sorrow and despair, and the Elementals remained trapped in the Void Crystal shards, their powers slowly waning. But then, a group of alchemists, descendants of the brave heroes who had fought alongside Elvorien against the undead legions of Azomir, discovered the AIRO Air Miner, a tool of great power that could unlock the secrets of the Void Crystal and release the Elementals back into the world.

For that, these men of great strength and courage journeyed the world far and wide in search of the lost shards of the Void Crystal, the scattered fragments of the Elementals’ power, believing that they hold the key to releasing the Elementals back into the world and to the Mother Goddess’ resurrection. Among the creatures they encountered, the alchemists found allies in Frostgiant, Willowwish, and Lumia, who would aid them in their quest.

Amidst sacrifice and peril, they searched for fragments, few and far between, guarded by the undead or traded by merchants from distant lands. Some shards were guarded by fierce creatures like the Necropsis and the Barkowl, while others were kept by enigmatic beings like the enchanted fox, Enchantail.

By pouring over ancient scrolls of Elvorien’s teachings, the alchemists unlocked secrets to summon the Elementals from the Void Crystal. Reborn, the Elementals could protect the Earth once more. But alas, they were but fragments of their former selves, their strength a mere shadow of their former grandeur. Only with the alchemists’ restorative aid, channeled through Regeneron creatures like Pludio, Calypso and Aurodent, could they hope to be revived and once again function as the mighty guardians they were meant to be.

Fueled by the AIRO Air Miner, the alchemists erected bustling settlements, powered by the very resources that the Elementals needed to flourish and grow. With time and practice, the alchemists learned how to train and evolve the Elementals, unlocking greater depths of power. The alchemists formed powerful bonds with creatures like Zephyr and Nightglow, who became integral to their settlements.

The Elementals’ strength was both a blessing and a curse, as the alchemists became corrupted by their own ambition. In their unyielding quest for dominance, the factions battled one another for control over the AIRO Air Miner resources that enabled the Elementals to thrive. The alchemists’ bond had shattered, and their shared purpose was now obscured by their insatiable thirst for power.

As they fought, the AIRO Air Miner remained a highly sought-after prize, coveted by all. The alchemists and the Elementals knew that their struggle was far from over, as they faced threats from every direction. Their once noble mission to protect the Earth had become a distant memory, replaced by a ruthless fight for control that threatened to consume them all.

And so, the legend of the Mother Goddess lived on, a testament to her wisdom, courage, and unshakable will. A story that would continue to inspire and captivate for generations to come…

And now, you might ask, what has this to do with me? Well, young child, it is no coincidence why I told you this story.

Providence has it that you are one of those heroes, descendant of the heroes of old, a champion in your veins, an alchemist by blood. For hundreds of years, from father to son, your ancestors sworn allegiance to the true order of Elvorien, and now you have come of age to understand why you always felt different, special, powerful. The time has come for you to choose whether to pursue our path of knowledge or to return to the rhythm of your mundane existence.

Be warned, for should you choose knowledge, your journey shall be arduous. Through treacherous lands, you shall travel, facing perils beyond imagination at every turn. You shall face daunting waters, confront formidable beasts, and cross boundless deserts in your pursuit to find the Void Crystal fragments and release the Elementals from their captivity.

You will encounter and form alliances with creatures like the cunning Eyeseed, who will guide and aid you on your quest. You will also have to deal with powerful adversaries, such as the fearsome Drakfur and the deceptive Weaver, who will seek to obstruct your path to the Mother Goddess’ resurrection.
